Club History
Pinxton Football Club were formed in 1994 and initially played in the Mansfield Bitter League between 1994-1998. We gained success in the 1996-97 season by becoming the Division 2 winners and completed the Double by winning the League Cup. We completede another Double in the 1997=98 season when we won the Division 1 title and the Derbyshire Junior Cup. We moved to the Midland Regional Alliance League between 1998-2004 and played in Division 1 finishing runners up in the 2000-2001 season. The 2001-2002 season saw us have one of the best seasons in the clubs history when we won the Division 1 title without losing a game(won 31 drawn 1) and reached the semi Finals in the Derbyshire Divisional Cup and the MRA League Cup and a Quarter final in the MRA Challenge Cup. We consolidated our place in the MRA Premier League when we finished 12th and reached another Quarter Final in the derbyshire Divisional Cup in the 2002-2003 season. In the 2003-2004 season we finished in the premier League.
